Data requested

With the mailbox owner's explicit authorization, the utility requests Google's gmail.readonly OAuth permission. This scope technically permits viewing messages and mailbox settings throughout the authorized account. The tool uses mailbox identity and selected message metadata and bodies to identify, authenticate, parse, and validate DWR Delta Operations Summary bulletins.

The public information website itself contains no Gmail sign-in form and does not collect OAuth tokens.

How data is used

Gmail data is used for authorized report retrieval, sender authentication, extraction and validation of operational report values, diagnostics, and tightly scoped testing. The service does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, sale, or training general-purpose AI models. It does not request Gmail modification or sending permissions.

Storage and security

OAuth credentials are intended to be held in access-restricted local files or approved GitHub Actions secret storage, not in public repositories, website files, or public artifacts. Message content may be processed in restricted temporary execution storage. Selected original messages may also be retained privately as development and test evidence, separate from public outputs. Access is restricted to the maintainer and authorized runtime.

Disclosure and sharing

Raw Gmail messages, personalized links, recipient information, authentication headers, and OAuth credentials are not made public or sold. DWR's non-personal operational measurements extracted from authorized report messages may be included in separately validated BRIM Live public data products. Hosting and execution providers may process the limited data necessary to provide their infrastructure services.

Retention and control

Temporary processing records are removed when no longer required for the task; any privately preserved test originals are maintained separately for development verification. The mailbox owner can revoke the OAuth grant in Google Account security settings. The maintainer can stop the integration and remove retained credentials or private message evidence.

Public website

These information pages are static and contain no forms, advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies added by this site. Its hosting provider may maintain standard network request logs under its own policies.
